This is the first novel in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. It is about a boy who discovers that he is a demi-god - his mother is a human but his father is an Olympian God.
What I liked about this book:
It's full of events related to various Greek Myths and Legends and features characters from those stories.
Why you should read it:
It's got a bit of mystery, action, adventure and history. Anyone can read and will thoroughly enjoy it!
